Atleast he admitted he made a mistake.

Nintendo beat the hell out of Pachter for saying a Wii HD was coming????

No, but the Internet virtually has.
Yeah Nintendo should at least announce a WiiHD at E3 now just to rub salt into his open cut. I'd laugh.
he must be trying to get us off guard and attack us with an even more stupid prediction
"I was wrong, but it's not my fault, it's Nintendo not doing what I told them!"
Yeah, if Nintendo show WiiHD at E3 Pachter will go KABOOM!

Pachter needs to just leave. He's NEVER been right. All of the gaming community and industry don't even pay him attention. In some cases they even burst out laughing at the site of him or the mentioning of his name. He's just wasting his life away "predicting" things. Any clueless dick can predict a pregnancy, doesn't mean it's not gonna happen because you told it not to and vice versa.
Currently enjoying: Monster Hunter Tri.
I don't know why anyone would assume Nintendo's going to announce "Wii HD" right now. They have never announced two new machines at once. Their standard way of doing this is to announce a new portable, and then the next year (if anything), announce/reveal the new console.
They guarantee better sales success with announcing and releasing these things at least a year apart. If they put out a new DS and a new Wii at the same time, all they'd do is guarantee that they split the sales decisions of consumers. Which would be stupid.
If anything, all this man demonstrates is how you can keep a job if you have the construct of authority going for you. Because everyone who knows nothing about videogames assume he is well-versed enough in them to make accurate predictiongs, he gets to keep making predictions.
If only we called all be so lucky to have such an amazing job. :p
Remember, magic is just stuff science has not made boring yet.
