the 3rd party games are great especially the Japanesed games....SONY's portfolio is not.

I agree with you on that, I wish they would make some more JRPGs.

Where we stand right now, I have ZERO interest in SONY's E3 nothung appeals to me other than TLG and WC2. I pray every E3 that SONY will annouce a in house developed JRPG IP or revive legend of Dragoon, or legend of legaia, or Alundra..but it never it never happens. Maybe this time.

Wii doesn't need to keep up. Not only do they have the lead. They are going to keep it for the rest of the gen.

Also notice how the OP lists the Rumored Wii HD and the lack of commitment from Nintendo, but neglects the Sony PS4 commercial the other day. Why? simple Sony needs to reset the counters to get people re interested in the PS name again. Doesn't sound like Nintendo has to worry about a lead at all.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

Before this thread degenerates into a bunch of ego-parading over largely subjective interests, I'll go ahead and say this.

All three E3 conferences are sure to be huge in their own ways. Microsoft has Natal, Halo: Reach, and Milo, Sony has Move, The Last Guardian, and LittleBigPlanet 2, and Nintendo has 3DS, Zelda, and Golden Sun. Instead of trying to see which company comes out as the "victor", just try and remember what E3 is: A place to learn about all your favorite upcoming games as well as discover new games. A Hanukkah of gaming, if you will.

1. Zelda Wii -decent

2. XENOBLADE -lol

3. The Last Story- lol

4. Earth Seeker -lol

5. Metroid- maybe ok?

just these 5 games right here are 50x more important than anything that ifills up SONY's generic shooter filled portfolio as for MS have they even announced anything thats worth paying atention to?

honestly. none of those games would justify buying a wii system..

MS will have natal which is meh but somthing

we have

Fallout new vegas, halo reach, COD black ops, possible TES V, fable 3, sims 3 confirmed for 360, possiblility for mass effect 3 and Dragon age origins 2... and well i thought of that for 5 mins, all better than all the games u mentioned combined ( except maybe zelda)

If you took every great game ever made and combined them together, they'd be about half as good as Zelda.

Yes, Zelda is a franchise that can't be compared to any other franchise from Sony, MS and even PC.  By the way, Sony and MS line up to this E3 seems to be full of generic Wii family titles and generic shooters.

Quite a few of the games you mentioned will be coming to the pc aswell... Also I don't think you can really argue against the quality of the wii games mentioned, maybe you don't like the prospective genre's but there's a fair chance they'll all end up very well made games.

Nintendo need to keep up?

My friend, it is Sony and Microsoft that need to keep up to Nintendo!

You've already said what's the difference. We know pretty much what Microsoft and Sony will show  but we know anything of Nintendo (yes we know ther'll be 3DS and Zelda Wii...but do we really know what these name mean?). Last year te predictions were: Zelda, Pikmin, Starfox, a new Mario. Except for Mario everything else was unknown.

This year will be the same. Maybe they're not able to give us a great presentation as Microsoft or Sony (their shows are great on that front) but the material will be there, plus it will be totally unknown (just rumored). I'm sure Nintendo will have a great conference this year (better than last year even if it was still a very good conference), they'll lack third parties on the home consoles front, but their games will cover that lack.

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)

Who cares about any of the systems when they have Animal Crossing 3DS...

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

lol can someone tell me who claimed that the 3DS will have AMAZING graphics like the X360?
