Since VGC no longer has comments on the game pages, we can only talk about sales in the forum... So I wholeheartedly invite all GoW sales fanatics to this thread to talk about part III's sales.

God of War III's current LT sales are 2,546,355 (12 weeks)

Average Weekly Sales - 212,196 (approx)

Last week , GoW III sold 44,762 copies ( no Japanese numbers yet)

American legs seems to be holding out VERY nicely...Same cannot be said about "Others" though. GoW Collection outsold it by a few hundred copies

God of War III should outsell Uncharted 2 next week in Americas.

If it holds at 35k a week, it should outsell MGS4 and become the best selling PS3 exclusive in Americas within 25 weeks ! (assuming MGS4 holds at 10k a week) 

Reaching 3 million copies sold Worldwide

• God of War III needs to sell 50K a week for 9 weeks (approx)
• God of War III needs to sell 40K a week for 11 weeks (approx)
• God of War III needs to sell 30K a week for 15 weeks (approx)
• God of War III needs to sell 20K a week for 27 weeks (approx)

I don't see it selling less than 20k for some time...

I "hope" for 5 million LT WW...although 4 million would be more realistic

I've just ordered my copy so it's plus 1 for this week's sales...

3 million is definitely a sure thing for God Of War 3.

Plus 2.5 million without holiday boost is amazing enough.

i wanna see more deals with god of war 3 bundled in the PS3 during the holidays.

plus we have GOW : Ghost Of Sparta coming so that will help GOW 3 sales xD

Yeah hopefully 5 mil, maybe even more than that. its weird that its not selling as well in others.

I still say this is undertracked in Asia and Americas, but whatever. Whenever Santa Monica gives their quarterly report there'll be adjustments. This game should be good for 5 million.

It shouldn't be weird. GoW was always more popular in America.
