Nintendo's also not the lone exception worth mentioning imo. Capcom and Level-5 have shown that with smart design and some insight, Japanese developers can still succeed with amazing results this generation.

I see far, far more western developers laying off staff, selling themselves off or just closing their doors entirely this generation. Why is it always the Japanese development industry that's "in trouble" then?
