PC version here and I haven't pllayed in 2 months, game got too boring.

However, the game has the must fucking horrible netcode I have ever seen. I mean, it's a huge pile of crap. First of all, I have to patch my PC right in my modem to play, because even when I remove all security and layers from my router, I can't connect for more than 15 seconds to a server before a disconnect. No other game has an

Furthermore, I can be connected to a server that is across the street and still get no less than 130 ping, EVER. In CS:S I get ping of under 10 on public servers, ones across the street. Let that sink in and realize just how shitty the netcode is. I expect to play game at under 100 ping at this day and age on my PC. I have shit out objects of higher quality than their netcode.

It has bad netcode, absolutely. And I too get 110-130 ping at best, but in BC2 a reported ping of 130ms is no problem (I say reported because the actual ping might be lower, who knows. My ping almost always hovers around 130-something which leads me to believe that the number that the game reports is not accurate). Shooting and hitting is perfectly accurate. I agree it should be 50-60 ms on a good server, but really, if u get 130ms in BC it's smooth and accurate.

I only have the disconnect problems very rarely.

sniping is a blast. And i think you only have the camping problem if you are playing hardcore.

sniping is a blast. And i think you only have the camping problem if you are playing hardcore. 


I snipe sometimes, its just when my teams losing, i dont snipe. I snipe if my teams winning.

the thing that is wrong with most snipers especially when they aren't playing hardcore is that they do not relocate. So that being the case I usually seek revenge upon getting killed by a sniper, since i can usually tell where they are at from the after-kill cam. 

I usually stop sniping as well if that is going on with my team.

I propsed a new rule on BC2 forums, if your  (A) team is losing and (B) team is winning, then (A) team cannot snipe, but (B) team can. This will draw all the unwanted non team players unto the squad death area.

I agree 100%. I get so freaking angry at them sometimes, especially if they're in my squad! Grrrrr...

Now that I think of it, the biggest reason why I quit was because I was angry nearly half the time while playing BC2.

The single most thing about BC2 that angers me is when your squad doesn't share the same game plan.

Let's say two of the squad members choose to camp, snipe or just ride together in a vehicle then I am left with just one guy to cover my back and who I can spawn on.  That sux so bad.

I'm geting upset as I'm writing this just by the thought.

lol, if im playing rush and the enemy team is losing bad, and i get killed by a sniper ill send a message to the sniper that killed me saying "Thats why your team lost, dumbasses who snipe, get some balls, grab a gun and blow the M-Com up"
