Toshibas are reliable but make sure your price range is $600 and higher. ASUS has always been crap.

Well, I guess we're on opposite sides of the spectrum then
Both my parents and other family members have had ACERs breaking down on them. I'm the only one with an ASUS though.

However i just got it today and im experiencing one of the exact same problems as i had with the last one. My battery will not charge. When i plug in my AC adapter it will register and say 95% Available (Plugged in Not charging) Ive tried everything and it still will not work. Like i said before my last computer from ASUS had this exact same problem and i ended up having to send it in to them to get it repaired. This is absolutely Ridiculous this is the second BRAND NEW $1200 laptop i have bought from ASUS that has crapped out on me within 3 Months. DO NOT buy a laptop from ASUS. I love their Motherboards and have never had problems with them but their laptops are TERRIBLE build quality. |
Cool story bro
BTW, HP, Dell, Toshiba, and Acer all use ASUS laptop motherboards and components in their laptops. So you wont get away from their cheap laptop components.

Well i paid $1400 for my G71 and then was refunded the full amount by Best buy and then paid $1200 for this G73. So these are definitely not Entry level Laptops
Long Live SHIO!
@ calvinandhobbes
Link is not working....at one point in time...

Kinect!
who needs video games!Just so you know that laptop will no longer be stocked at Best Buy. That is the Exact model i got and Best Buy said they are being phased out. So good luck with that. Cant wait to get this POS switched out. Im never buying another ASUS laptop again.
