Don't expect them to do anything, they are just putting on a show so everyone shuts up. I'm willing to bet my sig for 2 months  that at max they'll implement 2 goal line referees (like in the europa league atm).

Sadly, I think you're right. I don't think they'll even consider a god-damn chip on the ball to tell if it's in or not.

Japan deserved to go through, not Paraguay, they were the only team that bothered to try and win the game in the normal time, while Paraguay just wanted to defend.

ok lol... I was wondering why there was no replay checking the offside on the goal... it's because the goal was offside (and the line ref had a horrible positionning...)... FIFA probably instructed the production crew not to put offside replays of validated goals anymore...

Video is really needed in soccer...  not to validate anything, but as a means to counter a decision (if a goal is counted, prove that it's offside. If a card is given, prove that it's not waranted... should be like in tennis where each team can use it 3 times...).

Pause at 00:25. Villa's ahead at least 3 feet from the last defender, Coentrao on the left side. Good job FIFA, pretty fucking good job. You finally got what you wanted all along. An irregular goal which decides the entire outcome of a match. 

I hope Spain gets what they deserve against Argentina/Germany. They just gained a new supporter.

portugal was robbed everyone saw what spain did to ronaldo when he got the ball fairly, pushed over none of the ref's spotted it, and the other time players diving with no portual players being at fault, I really feel for all supporter's of portugal right now, I really feel like they could have easily won if spain had not cheated so much and the ref's got their act together.
