I think our german team is too young and too bad at defending to go far in this tournament (quarterfinals would be a success). Italy on the other hand is old and sated - they look like '02s France to me (and so does this years France).

02 france was directionless, it was more about the egos (still is) than anything else, We'll see how they do against New Zealand before waving them away.
Wow, Paraguay with a much deserved win. 2-0
S.America teams are really doing well so far, I hope they keep their momentum (except for Brazil in the 3rd game

Italy vs New Zealand coming up ! I hope Italy perform at their best and New Zealand have a off game....
5-0...come on...it HAS to happen to someone...
Edit : Except Australia
From what i've seen New Zealand does not need an off day to take some losses. It's just that Italy has not been performing very well lately so that might be your problem.
It looked like slovakia did not want to win that match... This WC is making my eyes hurt.
If another team loses 4-0, to try and seperate them, I'll look at their next worst result, as things stand, Australia's is 1-1 so...it could be looking good for you but obviously, someone needs to lose 4-0 first before we even get to that, but obviously a 5-0 or whatever is what you're looking for.
29 (Weaveworld) Italy 1-1 New Zealand (Barozi) 20
Iaquinta 29 (pen) Smeltz 7
