with those talking ads (I'm looking at you iPod and iPhone) locked constantly?   I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds them invasive and annoying.   Also they do tarnish the image of the site to lurkers and outsiders who don't necessarily have developed an addiction or love of this site.  Ads like that are generally hated by 99% of the surfers on the internet and will give them reason to not visit the site.

I'm just speaking on behalf of many of the users on this site who would appreciate another type of ad that doesn't take over and pop over or use sounds to get attention to their banners.   I'll never EVER click one of them only scroll to them to see if I can mute it or stop it.  But to have to do that every time I load a page it gets very very annoying.

ioi, I really hope that you can find some new advertisers that don't have ads like that.  I would appreciate it greatly.

(for those who come in to say firefox for the win, don't.  I can't use any browser but IE while at work.)

My pokemon brings all the nerds to the yard. And they're like, "You wanna trade cards?" Damn right, I wanna trade cards. I'll trade this, but not my charizard.

Man, sucks to be you....I use firefox and I still have to keep my speakers off the whole time I'm on this site because the fucking ads keep congratulating me for not winning things.

Apostrovich, get the "No Script" add on for firefox. I never ever get those ads from home. Just when I'm at work, and I'm addicted to this site so not coming here isnt' an option. I just have to be annoyed by them.

OMG. That breast cancer ad that starts talking in a breathy, sexy voice is the most obnoxious ad I've ever seen on any website.

I recommend Firefox to avoid these things.. although some of them still get through despite the ad blocker.

If only their wasnt' policies here that prevented me from using firefox at work I wouldn't have a problem at all.

Damkira, get the No Script add on. It will fix that for you. and it's a old lady from the 50-60's that is doing that talking about the mammograms.

I never get ads with sound any more, however recently i have had one that expands over part of the page, a tad annoying but i can live with it.

Oh i am using IE by the way.

How'd you manage to stop those Twroo? I'm looking for anything to prevent it. Oh yea, and I have my sirius streaming to my pc so I have to have that going still. :)
