Well. Appears my want for more competition in Verizon smart phone arena is not happening. No biggie, the Android phones keep matching and surpassing iPhone features all the time.

not true, unless the only image editor you want to run is paint.net you will need a desktop for any type of proper image or video editing.

Sorry, my post was confusing.

People who use Creative Suite and similarly high-powered apps need a desktop, yes. People who use Office and email and other kinds of text manipulation, and who represent the overwhelming majority of office workers, could dock their phones at work if the right software was in place.

Oh, and developers who want to get paid care about iAds. And developers who get paid generally do more and better work than those who don't.

phone insurance isnt the answer... trust me..  just hope your contract expires within 2010 and upgrade 6 months in advance.

Based on what I've heard so far from people who have actully seen the phone in person, the screen is pretty darn good. This includes someone who compared the EVO and iPhone 4 side by side.



Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.
