PROVIDERS!!!! PLURAL
I've never felt that video calls are a big deal. Video editing on a phone is much cooler.
Honestly, once we're at the point where we're editing videos on a phone, why the hell aren't most office workstations just a keyboard and display dock for smartphones? There's probably only a half-dozen people in my workplace that need the power of a desktop.

Don't get your hopes up too high. iPhone is carried by dozens of providers around the world.

im under impressed so far compared to last year. iBooks is pathetic compared to Kindle and Android is getting a Kindle app. iAd is just advertising.. who cares. The iPhone 4G I've known about thanks to Gizmondo, and its screen isnt as super good as they state. OLED can provide a better picture if implemented correctly.
Also the whole HTML5 thing about being secure is a joke in itself as someone could easily code in or place some lovely code into a web pages.

not true, unless the only image editor you want to run is paint.net you will need a desktop for any type of proper image or video editing.
