seemed fishy to me. Well back to waiting, usaully these things take time. But I do hope they win their case, although for a lesser amount, maybe 15%-20% of the value of the machine.

I still don't get why people want a refund, it was a free feature offered by sony, it cost you no money, seriously if you wanted linux (and most people don't) go out and buy a pc, because the claims are nothing more than people trying to cash in:(:(

It wasn't a "free" feature. It was part of a package of features that the ps3 was. Sure some may be cashing in, but others have a legitimate case, and should not be punished. It was a choice of sony, they did not have to include the featurre if they had no plans of keeping it.
