Major Tales announcement coming this summer

The ‘Tales of Festival’ went on in Japan today where Tales fans alike gather in an event celebrating the franchise. Unfortunately, no new Tales games were announced at the show, but Namco Bandai did pull the old ‘announcement of an announcement’ card.

A major Tales announcement in on the way for the summer.

We were expecting the rumored PlayStation 3 title Tales of Unitia to be announced today, simply due to recent rumors supporting it and the fact that it was an event based around Tales games. Looks like if it’s coming, it’s to be announced this summer.

It’s not too long a wait.

I no longer care about this (great) franchise since most of its titles never make it out of Japan.

The only Tales of .... game I have played is Symphonia on the GC and I loved it.

I can't wait for Graces and/or European PS3 release of Vesperia.  Maybe this could be a Tales installment for the 3DS, possibly?

This is the only reason i didn't get it for the 360 again yet, i had it but it ended up getting broke before i even got to play 20 minutes of it :( , but i dont plan on buying it again or playing it till i know for sure the PS3 version is not going to come statside, and even if it doesn't then im still going to feel cheated as i play it on 360 as i know ill be playing an incomplete version...

The hope of seeing it stateside is the only reason I haven't imported the Japanese version yet.

It's all adding up, my account this account are almost identical. This wasn't facade what every else thinks (well from many other forum rooms) I knew the truth will come out sooner or later.

Incomplete version? It's not so bad, it's just missing a few extra things from the updated PS3 version. I'm playing the 360 TOV game and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Sure it would be nice to have the extra stuff, but I don't want to pay an extra 6,000 yen for a few extra tidbits added onto the game.

I did buy the TOV movie on Blu ray though and it came with some free DLC costumes for the PS3 version of TOV, hehe. ;-p
