Forums - Nintendo - Game Informer full of little kids

Oh those little boys that only know the PS1

The sad thing is that they make the same mistake twice, that or nobody played Kid Icarus.

I don't get the joke.

Playstation Generation is a cancer that needs to be purged.

Pixel Art can be fun.

We don't know if it's a joke but the author of the article thinks that Pit was "Created" for Super Smash Bros, thing is that Pit was created 24 years ago (Kid Icarus for the NES)

"Create one from scratch"?

Wow....just wow.

I know that, but...there's no way the author don't know about Kid Icarus, right? So there has to be some hidden joke in it. There has to be...has to be...

I can't agree more. PS Generation brought excellent games and a great jump in some areas of gaming, but it also brought more ignorance and hate than the Atari/Coleco through NES/SNES era combined.. ug.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

Yes it has to be a practical joke, if it isn't then that guy should be fired seriously you have to be a complete N00B to not know about one of Nintendo's only North American created IP's. Seriously Kid Icarus has gone down in the history books of the industry. Someone working for a magazine that specializes in games has to do research on every article before writing or publishing said article. Plus the editor would also have to be a moron for this not to be a joke.

So you'd have to have a moronic writer, dumb editor and who knows how many other people are involved in publishing every individual article. I just can't see so many people being so ignorant!

"In God We Trust - In Games We Play " - Joel Reimer

I think Jeff was specifically trying to piss off Kid Icarus fans with that one. I'm assuming it will succeed. - Dan Ryckert, Game Informer

What kind of business tries to enrage their readers?

Hmm....I'm positive that Kid Icarus is not a North American IP. As a matter of fact, NST wasn't created until 1999, and that was the first ever Nintendo owned development studio here. Retro Studios came afterwards.
