It doesn't really matter how good or not all those lightgun shooters are on the Wii once Sin & Punishment 2 is released in every region, except if you hate the idea of actually controlling a character and having to dodge. Otherwise the basic gameplay is similar.

Sin & Punishment 2 is to all other lightgun/rail shooters ever made what Super Mario 64 was to Jumpin' Flash. I think that analogy works quite well and puts things into perspective.

Stop it, waiting three weeks already sucks!!!

It's not easy waiting for Super Mario Galaxy 2 either considering all the praise it gets.

Just to tease you a little bit more: the average kill count per second in a complete playthrough of S&P2 is approximately one.

I love SMG 2, but to be honest I would have rather had S&P first myself.

When my brother and I played House of the Dead: Overkill, we just wanted to run and gun, without too much story...at all. In a ORS (On-Rails Shooter) it doesn't really have much place. Even in HOTD:Overkill, between all the swearing and jokes, I was kind of anxious to get to the action.

From what I see in this thread, I'd imagine that DS: Extraction had loads more, which is BS. I'll youtube the cutscenes to see if its true.

And I really find it rude that it is $50 on the Wii, with glitches, yet $15 on the PS3/360 with more features and an actual...prequel y'know, with a sequel coming. Ugh, I hate test games, on all consoles. The Wii just happens to get the most.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

Make it free for those who pre-order dead space 2

So now EA is going to put their test game they made for Wii on the HD consoles with more features and a cheaper price. I honestly think they do this on purpose to make the Wii and it's audience look bad.

Shows what they thought the game was actually worth. Glad I did not bother with it, or any of thier games for that matter.

There are no cutscenes, the story is told fully in game.  As such its impossible to skip anything.

Gets really boring walking through empty corridors for 3-5 minutes listening to chatter just for about 20-30 seconds worth of enemies rushing at you before going back to chatter for another few minutes.

The first time through it isn't so bad but it makes replays unbearable.  At least in the Resident Evil on rails games and in HotD: Overkill the majority of story was told in cutscenes you could skip.

That sounds like a complete disaster.  In light of the metacritic score, I think it's safe to say that game critics have no idea what makes a good rail shooter.
