You're borderline trolling Vanille, as usual. If you didn't pay attention to FFXIII story, then it's your problem.

Borderline?

I'm full-out trolling that annoying character. She's relatively useless to the storyline and her voice makes me want to kill myself.

*Massive spoilers ensue*

Of course she's useless to the storyline. The thirteen days didn't revolve around what she and Fang did to the people of Bodhum, especially Dajh and Serah.

Also, Ragnarok wasn't even made from Fang and Vanille. You know Ragnarok, that thing that almost destroyed Cocoon 500 years before and that in the end did destroy cocoon?

Oh and never mind the fact that they're the last remaining Pulsians from the last remaining tribe that was destroyed from the ash that feel from the destroyed shell of cocoon in their first attempt.

I agree with you, she's damn useless to the stoyline. I mean the whole damn story just happened because of what she and Fang did.

*Sigh* Dtewi, even you know when you're being stupid.

Let's see if I can mix the story up a bit, so Vanille doesn't exist:

Let's say that Fang is the one who meets Serah, the one who did this to Dajh etc,

Ragnarok was also made of Fang alone, not Vanille.

Now... let's go a bit futher:

Let's say that from the start, the one who joins up with Hope is Fang, let's also say that in Lake Bersha, Snow is captured by Cid, without Fang to help him...

I can pretty much go throught the story like that, and replace Vanille with Fang, without replacing and changing much of Fang's original story bits.

And VOILA! A Vanilleless story!

You can do that for every character and change whatever you want. And then you'd have your own game, nice and tidy.

Also, the underlined part

Full ragnarok is made from both of them. When Fang alone becomes ragnarok, she doesn't have the power to overcome Orphan nor destroy Cocoon, that's what happened 500 years ago. See the final movie once more. When they're at the end of stopping Cocoon from crashing into Pulse, you see both of them as Ragnarok.

The flaw is if Raganrok was only made of Fang then Cocoon would have been destroyed 500 years ago, but it VANILLE's fault that it wasn't destroyed as Vanille got too scared to turn into raganrok.

Now for me Vanille's character should have been played by a mute boy, that way we could have felt sympathetic for him & we could see hima s Fang's brother.

Okay - Fang had a sister, that died because of her!/She wasn't strong enough alone anyway!

Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.

Also, lestatdark, I don't like Vanille because she feels like an add-on to the story and her personality is annoying.

My judgment is not clouded by her personality, I don't like her for a variety of reasons.

Entire events happen because Vanille told lies.

People on other forums are saying "why wasn't vanille the main character".....I thank god for them not making her the main character but its obvious the whole games story mainly revolves around her & fang.

You need to just play Chapter 8 to understand that.

Not to mention the whole reason they failed to destroy cocoon 500 years ago WAS Vanille's fault cus vanille got scared & didn't turn into ragnarok WITH Fang which mean Fang became the weak ragnarok that could only destroy the shell, not the Cocoon planet itself.

But that ENTIRE plot event doesn't affect the story in any way.

Actually, it's the other way around. The entire story affects the entire plot. Mainly, if Vanille had the guts 500 years ago to become Ragnarok with Fang, Cocoon would have been destroyed.

Then there wouldn't even be any plot.

How doesn't ti affect the plot?

If cocoon was destroyed 500 years ago the game's world wouldn't exist & my precious Lightning wouldn't have been born.

It doesn't work that way.

Since Cocoon *WASN'T* destroyed, that side-plot doesn't affect the story.

Show me how you can remove Lightning.

Easy.

Give Serah a sister that had no relation whatsoever with PSI-COM.

Obviously, when she hears that her sister/brother was lost, as any good sister, with or without training would go search for her.

She meets up with Snow, who tells her/him that it's too dangerous for someone like her to go inside the Vestige.

She/he goes alone anyway.

She/he gets caught in the events anyway.

Voila, you get a female/male character equivalent to Hope without the mother-is-dead-stigma that also searches for Serah and strolls along the party.

Snow would become the natural leader up until chapter 3.

Then that role would fall into Sazh hands after chapter 4.

They would part ways eventually because Serah's sister/brother would continue to look for her no matter what while Sazh&Vanille chicken away.

Etc, etc, etc.

Hypothetically it would have which makes Vanille vital.
