Forums - Microsoft - Dreamcast Games Finally Coming to XBL!?!

yes.. Marvel vs Capcom was the Dreamcast port.. but...

Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi submitted to Korean ratings board by Microsoft

Microsoft Korea has submitted Sega's Crazy Taxi and Sonic Adventure to the Korean ratings board, leading to speculation that the Dreamcast titles are racing to XBLA. Sega was unable to officially comment on the ratings.

Sonic Adventure popped up like a blue blur on radar back in January, while Siliconera points out that Crazy Taxi has been banging around as a rumored XBLA release for a little while. With E3 only a couple weeks away, it wouldn't be surprising to hear more about the titles then -- you know, unless another ratings board accidentally posts a classification.

I don't see why they don't do this already...

NullDC PC emulator runs most DC games in 1080p no problem even on single core CPUs. Can even make them widescreen...

If sega didn't fire their entire Sega of America (rightfully so for making Ironman 2 suck more than Ironman 1) they could be porting their published DC games to retail split in chapters for 59.99 each.

Imagine a retail disks with

DC Chapter 1: Sonic Adventure 1, Sonic Adventure 2, Ooga Booga, Jet Grind Radio, Space Channel 5...

DC Chapter 2: Zombies Revenge, House of Dead 2, Alien Front Online, Ecco the dolphin, Vurtua On...

DC Chapter 3: Shenmue 1, Shenmue 2, Headhunter, Skies of Arcadia...

DC Chapter 4: Crazy Taxi 1, Crazy Taxi 2,  Sega GT, Sega Rally 2, Ferrari 355...

Id buy all of them day 1.

Jet Grind Radio/JSRF plz. There will forever be a gap in my gaming life until I can play those games again in full HD.

Edit: Oh, and Skies of Arcadia. So necessary.

Thence we came forth
To rebehold the stars...

Cool. I enjoyed the dreamcast in it's briefness with the market.

Sega would never do that, they might actually make money if they did.

I find it more likely we'll keep getting crappy big budget games.

You don't need Crazy Taxi 1 & 2, so swap 1 with Daytona.
