Well, I obviously call myself a South American too, I'm both, same as I'm both also an Argentinian or a "south hemispherean" if that existed. Well, certainly anyone here would call himself American, I'm pretty sure other South Americans would too, we could ask Pastro or marciosmg for confirmation (though, I've seen pastro calling people out for the "America" misnomer too, so I don't think it's needed)

I personally have complained about this a couple of times, but I dont honestly care about that very much.

Here in Brazil, people dont call themselves americans at all. They always use it when referencing people from the US.

I have seen on CNN in Spanish, refering to americans as "estadunidenses" (something like united stadians in english).

Do you that in Argentina, Zexen?

Gah, why did I change to Serbia winning... oh well.

At least Slovenia won... PROBABLY makes things better for the USA/Uk.

Which is this UK team you speak of?

I can assure you Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland didn't qualify

(Not that they ever do haha)

Nice showing from Germany, now we'll all have to hear how Germnay this or Germany that. I know everyone will be talking about Ozil, Muller and Podolski, but I wanna say that Khedira is a fantastic central midfielder, he controls everything

Well, Podolski no doubt about it. Ozil played really good, but lacked on the definition. Lahm and Schweinsteiger are great too.

To me, Ozil played better than Podolski, he was more participative, Podolski just appeared in the goals

It was a great showing for Germany. I was amazed. Expected a more "boring" approach. They will be sure contenders to win the Cup.

Fun Fact - Cacau who scored once today was actually born in Brazil. So, we are so good that we export our players to other nation's national teams.

Wasn't most of Algeria born in France?

Yes, but Argelia and france are very close together. Historically, that is pretty common. But several countries have brazilians on it.

Germany, Portugal (they have 3!), USA, Brazil (lol).

In fact, I heard today that most of Germany's team are people from other countries. Klose and Podolski are from poland for example.
