There are some really great moments during and after chapter 10. if you like the battle system you might be interested in taking on the mark hunting, which is fun for a while. but imo the story alone isnt good enough to play the game, and it will take ages to rack up experience and gil. theres not much to play the game for unless you really like the story, which i thought never really had enough depth. but Gran Pluse is the centrepiece of the game and worth the time if you have it.

I've actually mentioned this over and over. The game never opens up. As Xxain said, certain arears get larger that's about it. Never did I get that sense of exploration, it's all just one big illusion. I felt like a train on tracks.

Ok what the heck. I say you guys have a debate on what's good and what's not about the game and then I'll decide if I continue my quest for the ending or not.

I guess it really depends on how much I want to see the graphics and characters in action. Maybe not this month I guess.

When I continue a game I haven't played in a while I have to start a brand new game, but my advice is to continue playing from chapter 10 instead of starting over. Try to read the datalog to get the hang of the story. It shouldn't be hard to know what you need to do next because there is only 1 way to go.

This. The game doesn't change at all, it just does the same thing with an open area to run around and gives you even more tedious tasks. You learn more about certain things you didn't know and the battles yield more exp for the crystalarium to prepare you for the next phase, but thats about it.

If you want to play a good game, definitely play it. If you want to experience a great FF, play one of the PSX or prior games.

Yeah it's just as great as the other parts. If worth playing again.
