Forums - General - 9 dead as Israeli forces board Gaza aid Convoy

I want to get these facts straight and THEN my comments will follow.

1. A ship is 80 miles off a country's coast, international waters extend 12 miles off a country's coast.
2. The country in question boards it, an act that is very easily classified as piracy. I'm fairly sure piracy has been defined since some time around the 16th century so no point in arguing or spinning that.
3. The ship consists of civilians.
4. The country's boarding party is a highly trained unit with live ammunition.
5. The civilians react just like every other civilian mob in history, it attacks with such "weapons" as planks, pipes, rods, kitchen knives.
6. Highly trained unit kills a dozen, give or take a few, civilians.

This is what I have seen and what my assumptions are so all these comments are based off the above.

First of all, whoever calls the people on board "unarmed civilians," in quotations, you are an idiot. No one calls a riot mob "armed" because they have sticks and stones. A riot is armed when they start having firearms.

Furthermore, whoever decided to send in commandos with live ammunition instead of riot police with rubber bullets, batons, riot shields, etc. should be shot since they are directly responsible for this debacle.

I'd love to bash the activists on this, since they really started being all like "look at us, we're helping and fuck you." However they were really nothing more than a simple civilian mob at worst, and actual activists at best. A nation that should be respected should be able to know when to send in riot police and when to send int commandos, as it is Israel is more or less a joke given how it acts.

P.S. This may be too soon and the wrong topic to joke about, but there should so be a demotivator making fun of how commandos got beaten up by civilians with sticks. It's kind of pathetic.

a quick Question

what the Difference between what Israel did and the Somali Pirates ?

Probably, the most obvious answer is "warning and choice" ...

I don

Shio... you do realize your actually doing nothing but making your point look worse due to your wild overexagerrated misinformed ravings.

As for the situation at hand...

It's just another event in a sad chain of events that should of never happened.

Because the boarding was illegal the responsibility for the deaths fall to the Israeli government. Whether you yourself walk into a shop and rob it, but the store owner tries to stupidly defend his shop and you kill him or if you are a government and you send troops to perform an illegal action then the responsibility either way falls upon the person who instigated the illegal act no matter what the response by the victim of the act.

No country has the right to deny food, water, medical supplies etc to any civilian population. Any country which does so deserves to be scorned.

And that's why Israel gives water, electricity and supplies to Gaza strip, while allowing almost all outside donation to go there, right?

Also, every country has the right for self defence, and the blockade on Gaza is there in order to prevent Weapon smuggling into Gaza and Suicide Bombers going from there into Israel.

The only thing that Israel is at fault, regarding this operation, is boarding the ship in international waters, instead of neutrilizing the engines in Israeli waters, there's a reason why there are casualties in only one ship, and that reason is that most of those casualties lynched the first Israeli troops who were armed with practice (AKA not effective) rifles, with knifes, iron rods, bats, and the good old punches and kicks.

Lethal weaponry was only used as self defense, and Israel has every right to stop any ship from entering Gaza, to check that it doesn't have weapon and ammunition.

Hell, if it was about the goods, and not the provocation, the "peace activists" would've gives their supplies in Ashdod, and let the Israeli government check them, and then reansfer them b y land (like 99% of supply donations are sent there).

Israel deploys Subs with Nuclear Missiles in Persian Gulf

Three German-built Israeli submarines equipped with nuclear cruise missiles are to be deployed in the Gulf near the Iranian coastline.

The first has been sent in response to Israeli fears that ballistic missiles developed by Iran, Syria and Hezbollah, a political and military organisation in Lebanon, could hit sites in Israel, including air bases and missile launchers.

Each of the submarines has a crew of 35 to 50, commanded by a colonel capable of launching a nuclear cruise missile.

The submarines could be used if Iran continues its programme to produce a nuclear bomb.
