They may not have written an emulator for the SuperFX. The Wii has enough power, but there is still time needed to make the emulator, and they may not consider it worth it for 7 (NTSC) games at most. (Dirt Trax for example, isn't going to sell as it's primary selling point was the use of SuperFX, which doesn't stand up to even mid 90's 3D.)

Really, it'd only be 3 games they have rights/access to (4 counting the complete but unreleased Star Fox 2).

Releasing StarFox 2 could be the selling point of putting then as a bundle for DS!!

The emulator might need updating, but that can be easil done, they probably had to do a similar thing to allow N64 expansion pack games on the VC (such as Zelda MM).

The expansion pack is just RAM, the emulator doesn't need to be changed to use it.

They did emulate the SA1 and SDD1 co-processor chips for Super NES already though.  Lots of NES memory mapper chips too for various games (MMC 1-6, VC6, FDS ASIC, etc).

I freaked loved Stunt Race FX

they probably havn't gotten around to emulating FX chip graphics, Im sure they will get around it. Especially for Yoshi's Island, that game rocks

I'm craving some Doom...
