How can all of you be so stupid?

It's the people from NextGenWars, obviously. They created two sites so people would inevitably pick one and then the other would close so they would have the entire userbase to themselves.

Of course NextGenWars is run by Darth Vader while he raises money to come back from the dead; but you knew that.

No, but I know what it's like to be programming. Notepad will always be the best programming tool :)

I used to do html straight from it instead of all the available WYSIWYG apps.


EditPad Pro is nice, too.

 

 

I used to code strictly in Notepad, then I moved to Notepad++.

Now I use Visual Studio 2005.  If you try developing .NET application in anything else, you are just shooting yourself in the foot.  Besides, it's now the standard in my company.

Notepad??? Well, being that this site is in PHP, i guess.

I use Java at work written with Eclipse.
For my database codin' I use Toad.

At home I prefer .NET (ASP, VB, C#) as it is a lot more user friendly. Only real draw back is that it is not platform independent. In fact if it were I would predict the downfall of Java. Hell, the one thing MS has done right is C# in Visual Studio. Its really a great product.

 I've never been a big supporter of Microsoft, but C# really is a great language.
