Guerrilla Games Not Working With Naughty Dog On KZ3

While most of us are yet to see Killzone 3 in action, many press sites like Kotaku have gotten the chance to see it
during a private footage showing.
Almost every PS3 owner is, or should be excited for KZ3. The follow up to 2009's epic shooter, Killzone 2, will blow us away once again.

Contrary to popular belief, Killzone 3's engine is not being worked on by Naughty Dog developers

(Guerrilla's Herman Hulst noted at the press event).

Although gamers around the net were raving about the thought to be collaboration, it just isn't happening.
Of course,I have faith in Guerrilla Games to improve Killzone 3 over its predecessor; they are awesome developers.

I thought Naughty Dog helped them with the snow effects...
But hey...its not like these guys need any help, i still believe Kz2 is the best looking PS3 game so far.

The whole GG + ND collaboration thing was simply people blowing things out of proportion. Did GG get a few tips from ND on how to implement snow? Yes. In much the same way ND got tips from GG via Insomniac on how to decrease shimmering shadows in the first Uncharted. Or Media Molecule got tips on MLAA from Sony Santa Monica.

Sharing tips != direct collaboration.
