Save a life then they get back on the front line and hopefully get picked off by US or UK troops.
(Preferably by a head shot to prevent attacking our troops again)
I would be pissed off if I got killed by a troop saved by the red cross.

Well at least you wouldn't be pissed off for long.
The fact they are helping everyone shows that there CAN be peace. It's doing more than any of us could hope. If anything can help bring peace it's getting rid of an "us" and "them" views. That is what Red Cross is doing.

What the fuck? Red cross helps the taliban?!?! Wow I'm never going to donate to the red cross in the future. They should not be helping the enemy.

They're also not your ally. To the Red Cross/crescent the taliban are not the enemy, they are soldiers being wounded and this is their only concern, they do not hold bias. They help USA forces too.
From a British perspective.
Explain this to me. We are in conflict with the taliban (apparently) to remove them to make the entire world a safer place....so therefore when our troops are attacking them (the enemy) they aim to kill them in order to complete our goal.
However, the red cross decide to treat the taliban who we are trying to eliminate to fit in with our goal. Consequently, the taliban have greater depth of an army resulting in more casualties on our side.
It's flawed logic that this "charity" supports them. In theory they are contributing to terrorism and causing the deaths of British troops. The red cross may not want to take sides in this issue but surely they can view that the soldiers that they heal are going to be a threat to other people. What happened to them being pacifists? Hipocrits...
Out of interest what happens if a taliban member is captured? I'm presuming through local law he gets dropped or does the red cross intervene?

I agree, the Red Cross is a humanitarian organisation and dosn't swear allegiance to the USA, Canada, Britain, Afghanistan, Iraq or anybody, if they see wounded they WILL help, it's their mandate, it's the right thing to do, even if a wounded Taliban soldier goes back into combat to fight against our nations. It pains me to admit it too because I know our troops are over there dying for a war that's purpose is at best... cloudy. But the Red Cross is right...
I... question the wisdom of giving medical treatment and teaching people medical treatment who greatly go against human rights to such large degrees.
It seems counterproductive and will only create larger problems for them in the future.
Nuetral doesn't mean that you give each side the same amount of support.
Nuetral means that you treat both sides the same way accordingly. Meaning if both sides act the same... you support both sides equally. It's how you get people to follow Red Cross guidelines.
