the update worked for me.... how about trying the update again?

How do you have your PS3 plugged in to your TV? HDMI? I had a problem with the Fat Princess Beta once where the sound didn't work through HDMI. I switched to composite audio and it worked fine.

Yeah I use HDMI. I had an issue with Heavy Rain having no sound too where I had to use the default HDMI settings and couldn't use Dolby Digital 5.1 in the audio settings.

I've already reset my audio settings to default though for this game and like I said, the sound works fine if I don't have the update installed.... I really wanna try this game online sometime, though
