Just got this game and am trying to play it but I get no sound at all.  I get sound on the XMB and on other things, I set my audio settings to default, and still no sound at all at any part of the game...

Anyone know anything about this or how I can fix it?

But seriously I have no sound and its getting annoying.  I looked on the official Playstation forums but no help there.  The only thing that worked for someone there was to reset the PS3 sound output settings to default which I've already done.

I hope you figure it out because this game is really fun. Just hanging out in the lobby area and drifting is fun.

I deleted that update and reinstalled the game.  It seems to be working now.  Im just scared to sign in and install the game update again.

I already modded up my kart to look exactly like my mustang in my photos on here.  It's awesome!

UGH! It's the freakin update! As soon as I install that update the sound disappears completely from the game!

Apparently not for everyone.  I got a few replies on the official forum.  I'm not the only one missing my game volume.

How do you have your PS3 plugged in to your TV? HDMI? I had a problem with the Fat Princess Beta once where the sound didn't work through HDMI. I switched to composite audio and it worked fine.
