the rumors don't have enough validity to them yet to have any effect. When you start seeing leaked images on the internet is the time when you will start seeing a correlating effect on sales.

Hardly. 99% of the consumers out there don't know shit about X360 Slim, there is no supply issues and the console is cheap. Why don't just admit the X360 is aging? The same goes for PSP and the DS.

95% of Xbox consumers don't have a clue about the slim.

is it even announced yet? it's prolly just slow because there are not that many killer apps this year for the system yet. should pick up with halo reach and maybe natal.
