As for everything else.

PS3 is doing awesome.
360 is doing respectable.
DS is way, way down. Because of DSi hype last year?

Yeah I have no idea what the deal is with the black wii.  I have seen plenty on shelves.

360 is doing very good considering the sales from last year were following their price cut of late 2008.

PS3 is doing amazing.  The price cut + slim combo really did them well and has allowed them to gain increased sales for longer than the 360's cut of 2008.

DS, like you said, is from DSi hype/release last year.

PSP is actually doing ok if it weren't for the Americas which for some reason don't want one at all...

but 360 did have a price cut, all consoles did.

Well, there is a thing like market saturation. Although the market for the Wii is bigger than that for the other consoles in Japan, Wii and PS3 will reach that point long before the XBox does. The Wii might be nearing that point?

I doubt PS3 or 360 will ever reach market saturation ...

I wonder if the Wii can really be turned around back towards 50% market share. I suspect it cannot. I think Nintendo ought to release a new model at the end of 2011 because theres no point in letting the system decline to nothing or let their competitors pass them. I suspect the longer they wait the harder it'll be and their Wii successor can really offer next generation experiences and cut short any increased momentum the Xb and PS can achieve at the tail end of this generation by rendering them obsolete in both performance and interface/

Ps3 doing fantastic considering the time of year and shortages in some areas

Other consoles, hmm not too good, especially the box numbers are somewhat depressing tbh...it's competing with the psp now :S so much for the doomzed handheld

the psp is dead. Sony needs to cut the price on it are they just need to come up with something else all together.
