The number of independent developers tied to one platform holder are few and far between. Sony has bought up everyone of note in their camp over the last few years save Insomniac, and there aren't that many working with Microsoft and Nintendo.

Uh, this generation Nintendo's worked directly with more 3rd party devs than Sony and Microsoft combined. Exclusive or not.
As far as those who are working exclusively with one or the other, the only ones who'd cause any sort of talk I can think of would be...
Bungie Software (Microsoft): Basically already confirmed with the Activision deal.
Silicon Knights (Microsoft): Almost toxic reputation at this point. I don't really see *anyone* wanting to nab them. :/
Remedy Entertainment (Microsoft): Not unlikely, but they don't exactly have a strong, long term exclusive relationship going.
Insomniac Games (Sony): Strongly hinted as going multi with the new NC studio, probably what Pachter's referring to.
Sucker Punch Productions (Sony): Would be fairly notable, but not on par with Insomniac.
Clap Hanz (Sony): Ex-Camleot, might stir controversy in Japan but not really elsewhere. I could see MS approaching them though.
ThatGameComopany (Sony): Indie darling, was approached by Nintendo in the past, but probably wouldn't be a big deal.
EatSleepPlay (Sony): Would be more of a PR betrayal, but I could see the appeal from Microsoft's perspective there.
Quantic Dream (Sony): Similar to Remedy, wouldn't be a surprise, and wouldn't really be seen as a betrayal either.
Camelot Software Planning (Nintendo): Pretty quiet this gen anyway, will never work with Sony again but MS is a possibility.
Game Freak (Nintendo): Would be a huge scandal, but probably won't ever happen due to their historical ties to Nintendo and ownership in Pokemon.
skip (Nintendo): Wouldn't be a big deal, though it'd be more notable for the JP press.
Alphadream (Nintendo): Same as Skip. Notable due to their personnel, but probably something only JP press would notice.
Sora (Nintendo): Nintendo's already circumvented this possibility by setting up Project Sora. Sakurai could still leave, but there's no real incentive for him to.
Good Feel Inc. (Nintendo): Ex-Konami startup, doesn't really have enough reputation to make that big an impact,
