So the trophy/achievement is jumping out of your console, tying up your family and friends, dangling them off a cliff and pointing a gun to your head threatening to kill everyone if you don't get those completed?

Didn't think so.

Your being a dick you know damn well what i'm talking about.

Calm the hell down, he's making a valid point, if you need it spelt out like that because you SIMPLY don't get it, then you deserve it.

They are NOT forced on you.

I am calm, the sarcasim was not needed. Reread my opening post, hopefully then you will understand what i'm getting at.

Let me put this another way since some of you clearly aren't understanding what i'm getting at. When you put a game the trophy data is automatically saved to your psn account, you don not have the potion of stopping it. There are some games that I find fun enough to get trophies for but if decide that I don't want to get them I would like to have the option to not have the option of taking that game off my trophy list.

You can take games off of your Achievements list on 360.  Problem solved.  I do this with games I tried but hated and got 0 gamerscore on.  Not sure if this option exists on PSN yet or not.

I like the mandatory trophies but the option to remove games with 0% is something I always wanted

Here

I have trophies & I DO NOT CARE about them.

My friend got a PS3 recently (well like 6 months ago lol), he already has a higher level on the trophy thingy than me....but I have more games than him

I play to enjoy......when it gets to tedious to enjoy I stop going for trophies (example FFXIII platinum.....I wanted to replay it so bad but took on the mission to get the platinum..then it got so difficult & tedious it wasn't fun for me...so I decided to start replaying the game & enjoying myself instead of killing huge turtle dinosaurs all day)

Some people like ti when games get tediously tough & find it rewarding when you get trophies after that...but I don't see that as rewarding.....if I wanted to reward myself I'd go & buy mint imperials or candy!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

This, some games for me just aren't worth the time.
