#1 Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

Metal Gear Solid 4 blew me away in every single aspect of the game. The Metal Gear Solid Series has always been considered as one of the top most graphicial games of each Gen. MGS 1 blew people away for it's outstanding graphics during the PS1 days. MSG 2 and MGS 3 set new graphics standards of any console game during the PS2 era and MGS 4 was praised by both fans and critics, as one of the best graphics this gen. Ranging from ultra detailed character models, various effects, defining environments, beautiful cut scenes etc. Everything is just amazing and visually breathtaking.

The Gameplay of MGS4 is simply epic. The perfect blend of Stealth and Action/Adventure is what MGS4 can be referred to as. The gunplay, Psych Gauge, Solid Eye, etc all add to the rich gameplay experience. The Music and Voice Acting is breath taking and contributes significantly to the mood and atmosphere of the game.

And finally, there could've not had been a better fitting ending for the Legendary Solid Snake. An Emotional Ending I'll never forget.

Of all my time spent gaming throughout the years, never have I played a game so compelling, so impressive in all aspects and so masterful.

In future when I'm asked what's one of the best PS3 games, MGS4 would pop into my mind right away.

Final Fantasy VIII, I play it through every year since it has come out, sometimes twice.

Second was Heavy Rain

Do Mods count CGI?

Depends. If you can turn into a full game, certainly.

Remember guys, make sure it's your favorite title of all time. It has to be #1! :P

Would you count these?

#1

# 2

These are for Battlefield 2 and they change the game around, one even brings it back to WW2.

If you count these then im saying Forgotten Hope 2.

As much as I want to say Civilization (the first one), I can't. Sorry, Sid.

It has to be and will probably always be http://s341.photobucket.com/albums/o371/SalvadorLimones/TSoMI.jpg

HELL NO!

Sorry,  I wanted to make it number one,  but then I would be lying to myself.

LOST ODYSSEY
because i have never experinced a story that made me think about real life situations like this game did, also the characters and battle system is pure old school with a slight upgrade. i have just finished beating the game for my 9th time since it was released and every time i hear that "white rabbit" song by jefferson airplane or watch the tv trailer for lost odyssey , it is almost a sure bet that i will be playing the game within a few days.

This was rather hard.  I was almost 100% sure I knew what it was, until I had a picture loaded up.  I just did not feel right, but this definitely does:

I have beaten this game 6 times (that I can remmeber) putting in about 60-70h each time.  Cannot think of any other game (that is not an MMO) that I have put nearly this much time into.  The Trinity Sight System is awesome and needs to come back in Suikoden 6!!!!!!!!!!
