I'm having the same problem when I turn on the Wii... Oddly, It only seems to make the noise when Mario Galaxy is in the tray.

There has to be something wrong with that Hitachi drive, that seems way too loud.

Yep.... had one since summer of 06. Oddly enough **knocks on wood** no problems with it so far.


Do you even play it or do you play the PS3 more? Because I notice in your sig you have a PS3 tag.


 I go in streaks with playing it.  Right now though, I've been on my PS3 almost exclusively.   I haven't fired up my 360 since about a week after Halo 3 came out.  Just haven't been interested in playing any of the games I have for it lately.  And COD4 has been sucking up all sorts of time for me.
