Forums - Sony - Dragon Age Crashing

so i finally got round to trying to finish dragon age as i got distracted with new games that came out recently, i played it pretty much every spare minute this week - taking my time doing most missions i reckon i'm near the end after 96 hours of gameplay and the thing keeps freezing on me.

I am absolutley gutted cos after that many hours you want to finish the bloody thing, thing is i suspect with bioware that the second will import all of your choices as in mass effect so i'd wanna buy it on the ps3 but this has really spoiled it for me.

Bright side:  I still have elder scrolls: oblivion GOTY  unopened - it's been sat there for months so i guess i'll give that a go to try and scratch my itch.

I am happy you have 96 hours with DA under your belt.

Many people completed it in 40 hours, but for me it took 80-90 hours to finish. I did all the quests. It's such a great game that you shouldnt rush through it.

no i haven't got round to playing oblivion, been kicking the arse out of Fallout 3, ME2 and dragon age. Good news about the DA patch - that means i'll get to finish it!!

No point in rushing through dragon age, there's still loads of quests i'd like to go back and do one day - it seems that Awakenings is also decent.

I think the reason it's taking me so long to play is the skill level as i normally dont play these type of games and i've found sme of the quests difficult and that's added a lot of hours.

I'll need to get up to speed with these full on RPG's soon though as i have Demon Souls on order (not out in uk yet) and from what i've read thats gonna be a challenge.

Yeah, DA Awakening too is great. Took me around 30 hours to finish on hard.

currently @70 and almost done I guess... though the real time is much more as I absolutely have to see every branch of dialogue trees.... too bad it's most often only one extra sentence that doesn't change anything.

It's fun however when the story changes (the most change is the forest one).

I did a dual  wield warrior.

I'll speed run the game with an arcane warrior next.... maybe.
