If you're talking about me, I'm just saying that's a list without numbers so it's impossible to say that it's undertracked on vgc based on that alone.

Relatively we come to the conclusion something is wrong. Hence the question asked in the thread title.

VGChartz bases estimates on snips of GfK data for others/Europe. VGChartz sadly cannot become an official GfK customer, because GfK sells this data and there would be no point if this was publically available. So we have to do with these kind of charts, probably Nintendo isn't allowed to state the exact figures together with that chart as GfK would like to sell those to software companies, other console makers, regional chart suppliers, retailers, etc as well.

The list I provided suggests it's undertracked though because T2 said the shipment was about 6.5 million for each console in January 2009.

Considering GTA IV was still selling well on the PS3 in 2010 for Europe, the PS3 version may well have overtaken the XBox 360 version already.

Not necessarily true, the split is also 50/50 between US and overseas, possible that the 360 version made up the lost sales with the US.
