So not being able to play a game equates to $5M in damages? I should sue my college.

Well Microsoft lost the one lawsuit for the RROD, so they have three more 360 related lawsuits. The disc scratching one, Halo 3 discs scratched, and now this. I wonder if they will lose any more lawsuits.

MS has more lawyers than Dr.Phil has lame sayings. Ouch, that's gonna hurt in court I say...

 I doubt it.  In many of these big lawsuits like this, the lawyer will work on contingency.  That means, if they lose, they get nothing, but if they win, they can get an even bigger piece of the pie. 

I wonder if MS will do some weird out of court settlment thing like they did with immersion (is that right? the rumble feature company) and pay him off but then own part of him so years later they can say he didn't hold his end of the bargain and sue him.

 I think they'll opt to own his right leg personally, so they can cut it off and beat him to death with it. Microsoft are relentless. 

 Anyway, I highly doubt this lawsuit will carry in court; seems a bit unreasonable to be seeking that much in damages.

That's why after a few months I stopped playing using Xbox live service and amazingly even my teenage son who being a teen is not exactly a stranger to bad language says he mutes the voice chat because there are so many idiots on Xbox live.

And I must say the vast majority of them are USA citizens who really do take themselves and the games way too seriously.

I sometimes think, especially with the more violent games that people have actually forgotten games are meant to be 'FUN'!

This is hillarious, they bought a console with a projected 100% failure rate that eats game discs yet complain about the quality of a game published by the same incompetant company?

All you can do is sit back and laugh at the extent to which some people will go. Although if it pays off I wouldn't be surprised if it generated a bunch of new lawsuits. I for one hope this gets dismissed because it's a joke.
