"The suit then claims that these issues "disrupted game play," which, if these issues are as terrible or widespread as the suit alleges, is an understatement. The plaintiff, Randy Nunez, is seeking seeking class-action status along with $5 million in damages plus costs and attorneys' fees.

The suit claims that "many consumers" have these issues, making their console "totally inoperable." The court papers cite "industry Internet websites, weblogs, and message boards" to prove that this issue is a common one. It also alleges that Microsoft and Bungie have "received numerous complaints" from consumers on their phone lines and service forums without admitting these alleged Halo 3 issues to the public. "

Wow, some people sue for anything. I wonder if a similar one will come out for Assasin's Creed.

The suit is about the game freezing and making the 360 shut down. I don't think it has anything to do with tards on the xblive boards.

If he loses the case, he'll have very high lawyer fees and court costs to pay for. Its easy to disprove it also, just go on xbox live on the weekends and you can see a million people logged in.

How is it MS's fault that people on XBL are being idiots? This is a different matter.

There was already a post on this over a week ago, maybe you missed it? Don't really care, but this is a total BS lawsuit. People are unbelievable. If the judge is halfway decent he will throw this out as soon as it goes to court. Especially considering the day after halo came out, MS addressed the problem, and offered to replace any CDs that were faulty.
