The Sony PlayStation 3 has bested the Microsoft XBOX 360 for the third week in a row in World wide sales by only 400 points.  This success can be attributed to it's strong European presence, and Japan presence with the 360 Japanese presence barely even there.  360 outsold PS3 in America but, with the help of Japan and Europe, it again, has won.

I'm pretty sure these aren't finalized numbers. Considering it's a 400 gap any change could tip it.

I thought you were going to say PS3 > Wii in Japan. That's probably more deserving of a topic.

yep. the difference in WW numbers is just too small to make any big deal out of. However, the fact that it has actually held a much higher sales throughput in Japan for 3 weeks straight, besting Wii, is more news worthy.

but well, in fact the PS3 doesn't really outsold the Xbox360
the 2 sales rate are quite close.

the numbers are too close to claim any sort of victory, since this is an estimation by statistics, the difference are well within the margin of error.

i agree...it is bigger that it bested Japan wii

The numbers could be higher WW also, let's wait and see.
Anyway, I think this is only the beginning and that the Playstation boulder has started rolling finally.
