Duplicates of most of the software is on the list, like two Wii Sports

Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

yes but why more this week than last. doesn't a factory produce the same amount each day, more or less?

Although you are correct in assuming they would produce the same amount each month, it is highly likely that they shipped more products to UK/Others regions in March, due to the PS3 release.

That and the rumours of the stock hold, so they only ship 6 mil odd till the end of March.

Might be stockpiling for Golden week - it is a little odd though. This whole concept of "hold now, sell later" (rather than sell now). Maybe they want to stockpile for Paper Mario release?

Maybe not for Paper Mario, but they need to stock pile Wiis and DSs for Pokemon... Like 5 million each, as of yesterday...

Luckily I got both systems, but it is just gonna get harder and harder to find the systems. Probably will be shortages all year.
