Forums - Microsoft - How Long Does it take Microsoft to Repair?

Well im lucky because i live 1 hour away from Microsoft's repair center. I shipped my xbox today and it is expected to arrive there tomorrow. So how long does it take for them to repair it? Is there a chance for me to get it back on friday or saturday?

Well back in the day it used to take about 3 weeks due to the amount of broken consoles they were receiving, but now I imagine that it won't take more than one week tops especially since you live so close.

I know when I sent my 360 in 2 years ago it took a little less than 2 weeks and I live in Minnesota.

Well, I live in WV. My son's Xbox has RROD twice. Both times it was sent to Texas and took exactly 13 days each time.

  Tifa got MOVES!

it took me 7 days, but I imagine mine was speedier than normal. I was quite happy with their speediness. This was in 2006 though. I think, or 2007 I forgot.

It took two weeks for mine to get repaired last year when it got the E74. Like someone already mentioned the average used to be about three weeks but now its about two weeks or less. Also you can track your repair status online. Since you only live 1 hour from a repair center you might get lucky and it will take less then a week.

You should get it back within 2 weeks, Microsoft has been really good with the turnaround on the warranty repairs.
