It seems very expansive for the PS3 fans in this thread, I agree too.

I don't think it's time for doom and gloom yet. There are pluses on Sony's side, the cam has been at like $40 since the start of the gen right, hey can cut that down to $20 straightaway.

There will probably be a Move, Cam + Nunchuck bundle for $99, enough for one gamer, maybe 2 x move, cam, nunchuck for $150. Ok it's pretty steep for new preps but if they're going with Microsoft's "vision" if you like, they'll treat this like a new gen almost.

lol don't comfort them.

I'm just so worried Natal and its amazing games are going to destroy Move. Now, with knowing Natal being cheap and now Move costing as much as regular controllers, I am going to pass out of anger. Damn you Sony, why do your stuffs always has to be so expensive, give us cheaper products like other companies, please.

I really hope that's not the price considering you need two Move's, a sub controller, and an eye for a single player only game...

Whats a sub controller?

And the eye, what is that exactly. Playstation eye pet? Or it's a different camera?

the Eye is the camera that tracks the movement.

and the sub controller is this , its called Navigation controller (i think)

Severance the info provider! :)

But surely that sub controller must be included with the Move light bulb thingy at $60?

I also doubt that one extra would cost another $60, just for the Move.

Anyway, how much is the eye?

Looking at how much the Wii Remotes and Ds3 both cost, it makes sense that the Move by itself could cost $60.

The move has everything the DS3 has and almost everything the Wii Remote and WM+ has except a speaker but it does have the light.  The Move has a lot of buttons, motion sensing, battery, blue tooth, and I believe it has rumble.  All those things together add up quickly.

Hopefully it's $60 for the Move and sub controller, but thinking about it I wouldn't be surprised if it's $60 for the Move itself.

Aww.... Now I almost feel the need to comfort you. ^^

Amazing games for Natal?? I am sceptical. Hope we will be wiser after E3.

If Sony brings great games to the table for the move I wont mind putting $200 bucks into their wallet.

Yeah, it all really sounds pricey! But maybe after one has gotten used to those prices it won't feel so expensive. But for the casuals, imagine how expensive it will seem to them. It will be interesting coming months when prices of Move & Natal are being revealed.

This is the price I expected the Move controller to sell by itself.  It's not too unreasonable considering the price of a Wiimote and a motion plus accessory.  A hundred dollars for the bundle is not unreasonable either.  The problem lies in trying to sell this to the casual gamer that does not have a PS3 (The market Move is aimed at).  I don't think Sony is going to be taking a loss on hardware again anytime soon...it helped cripple them the past few years.  With that being said a $300 console plus a $100 Move package is once again getting into the expensive territory and you still have the cost of the sub controller as well. It's particularly expensive when compared to the new Wii bundle at $200.  Sony better have some mind blowing games ready if they want this to be successful.

I still think Natal is going to cost 100 dollars if not more, just looking at the hard drive, and wifi adapter MS sells.

You're ignoring the Arcade then. It's been said a hundred times before though, MS can afford to sell those products at a massive premium, they don't need mass adoption like they do natal.

The arcade is not an addon, and you guys are just hoping it's cheap, based on MS pricing, their addons are usually very expensive as I noted.
