Thanks for the advice everyone, think I'll keep it now I've been thinking about it.

By the way, how do I go about adding the consoles I own to my avatar..? Might as well add them now I have them all apart from the DS lol.

For the hard drive can I just use any IDE hard drive or do I have to pay an arm and a leg for the official Microsoft ones..?

Edit: Cheers Grey21...completely forgot about the old Xbox games, should be able to pick those up as cheap as chips :oD

You can use a USB. 360 can use up to 16gb per usb and you can have two usb's in the 360 so that 32gb of space you can get. I think the arcade has 500mb built into it too and maybe a memory stick but I'm not sure. You can find 20gb hdd for the 360 for really cheap on ebay too. But yea MS screws you over on console accessories. Unless you download a ton of stuff though 16gb should be enough.

For your wireless you don't have to buy a receiver. My friend connects his laptop to his 360 with an ethernet cable and uses the laptop to get the 360 online. Its very simple (literally takes 30 seconds)and works perfectly, no lag if you have a good connection. If you do want to buy the wireless receiver there is an older version that has one antenna instead of two that you could probably find online for very cheap.

Everyone has their favorite games so I'll list you a few of mine

Halo 3, GoW 1/2, Halo Wars, Bad Company 2, Fable 2, Mass Effect 1/2, Splinter Cell, Halo 3 ODST, Forza 3 and Alan Wake is looking very good.

Any other questions feel free to ask.

omg, only 32Gb via 2 flash drives through USB..?!!? Bloody hell, the Wii can do that with 1 SDHC card lol.

Looks like I'll have to get an official rip-off drive though. Very disappointing though, you can attatch any size drive you want to the Wii with a little bit of Homebrew magic and up to 500Gb on a PS3 if I'm remembering correctly. I guess that's the penalty Microsoft had to pay to get their console released a year before the other two. Very disappointed with that though.

Yea I know it sucks, only reason I haven't upgraded my 20gb hdd yet. But unless your planning on burning all your games to your hdd 16gb is actually not that bad.

Good selection of games too. I bought the original Fable through xbl when it was on sale for $10, very fun game.

Looks like you've got a solid list of games already, but if you do add a hard drive/USB/whatever for storage don't forget to check out the solid lineup of XBLA games. Castle Crashers, Shadow Complex, Splosion Man, Geometry Wars, etc...

I've decided to get the following Xbox games: Fable 1, Knights of The Old Republic 1 & 2 and Morrowind.

And the following 360 games: Dead Rising, Fable 2, Gears of War 1 & 2, Mass Effect 1 & 2 and Left 4 Dead 2.

Should keep me busy for a while lol.

Regarding Morrowind, imo the best game ever made but I came to that opinion after playing it from 2002 until Oblivion's release in 2006. It is old, slow and ugly now, and it will take you some time to look past that. Even back in 2002 I felt that it was a huge step backward compaired to playing a ''modern'' games like Halo:CE. You'll need to be smart about distributing the first skill and atribute points otherwise you'll be so weak that you'll miss 100% of your hits. So ask help on the official forum if needed. Once you get going then it could very well be the best game you've ever played. 11 guilds all of which offer a full game's value, just dont forget to get the GOTY edition that includes two expansion packs.

Oh and I suggest you play Fable 1 before Fable 2, Fable 1 feels really aged after playing Fable 2.

Play Mass Effect (it will feel a little dated now, but still awesome storywise).

Then play Mass Effect 2.

You will then decide to keep it.

more consoles = more awesomeness.

Try to pick up the Xbox Live starter kit, some games and you are fine.

Headset, 3 months XBL gold, 60GB HDD for $83 is decent.

There are a lot of exclusive games that you should give a try. Most of them are VERY cheap right now so you can't do anything wrong. Try Crackdown, Fable II, Gears of War, Halo 3 and Left 4 Dead. All of them are like $10.

Then why do you only own a 360?

OT: Keep it, reach is likely to be one of the greatest console FPSs for a long time!

time. I would get the other systems if I had the time to use them. I have

  • Crackdown (played for one hour)
  • Mass Effect
  • Left 4 Dead 2
  • Banjo Kazooie Nuts n Bolts (played for one hour)

in my collection and I haven't touch them yet. At least not enough. I know the games are fun, but I didn't have the time to play them like I should.

I am playing Halo Reach beta right now. More than 12 hours 20 hours according to bungie.net ( I just checked the one gamemode) and today I received Alan Wake in my mailbox.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Yup, cheers for the advice but I already know how awesome Morrowind is as I played the PC SKU years ago when it was released. I was originally going to play the PC SKU again but have changed my mind now due to my good luck on the CokeZone thingummybob!

I should be getting it either tomorrow or Friday and am really looking forward to it...I might have a quick trip down to Computer Exchange before I plug it in lol.

If you want a 360 sell it and get the elite or something. You'll have to buy a hard drive, wireless controller if you want one, cables and more.

Halo 3, Gears of War 1 & 2, Fable 2, Mass Effect 1 & 2. Alan Wake, Fable 3 and Halo: Reach on the way. Xbox 360 is well worth keeping.

If you are talking about your virginity, Sell it!
Only joking. Keep it, Mass effect 1 &2, fable & crackdown 1 &2 are all games i wish i could play and you can.
