Thanks for the advice everyone, think I'll keep it now I've been thinking about it.

By the way, how do I go about adding the consoles I own to my avatar..? Might as well add them now I have them all apart from the DS lol.

For the hard drive can I just use any IDE hard drive or do I have to pay an arm and a leg for the official Microsoft ones..?

Edit: Cheers Grey21...completely forgot about the old Xbox games, should be able to pick those up as cheap as chips :oD

You can use a USB. 360 can use up to 16gb per usb and you can have two usb's in the 360 so that 32gb of space you can get. I think the arcade has 500mb built into it too and maybe a memory stick but I'm not sure. You can find 20gb hdd for the 360 for really cheap on ebay too. But yea MS screws you over on console accessories. Unless you download a ton of stuff though 16gb should be enough.

For your wireless you don't have to buy a receiver. My friend connects his laptop to his 360 with an ethernet cable and uses the laptop to get the 360 online. Its very simple (literally takes 30 seconds)and works perfectly, no lag if you have a good connection. If you do want to buy the wireless receiver there is an older version that has one antenna instead of two that you could probably find online for very cheap.

Everyone has their favorite games so I'll list you a few of mine

Halo 3, GoW 1/2, Halo Wars, Bad Company 2, Fable 2, Mass Effect 1/2, Splinter Cell, Halo 3 ODST, Forza 3 and Alan Wake is looking very good.

Any other questions feel free to ask.

I order to have the consoles you own in your avatar you just have to add games of the current genration (PS3, 360, Wii, DS, PSP and PC) to your game collection.

Woo hoo, cheers for that Chris! I am now officially an omni-gamer (well, apart from the DS lol). Also added my kitten Georgie to my avatar, even though she is a pain in the bum lol.

omg, only 32Gb via 2 flash drives through USB..?!!? Bloody hell, the Wii can do that with 1 SDHC card lol.

Looks like I'll have to get an official rip-off drive though. Very disappointing though, you can attatch any size drive you want to the Wii with a little bit of Homebrew magic and up to 500Gb on a PS3 if I'm remembering correctly. I guess that's the penalty Microsoft had to pay to get their console released a year before the other two. Very disappointed with that though.

more consoles = more awesomeness.

Try to pick up the Xbox Live starter kit, some games and you are fine.

http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-60GB-LIVE-Starter-Pack/dp/B001HHWFEY/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1273617505&sr=8-3

Headset, 3 months XBL gold, 60GB HDD for $83 is decent.

There are a lot of exclusive games that you should give a try. Most of them are VERY cheap right now so you can't do anything wrong. Try Crackdown, Fable II, Gears of War, Halo 3 and Left 4 Dead. All of them are like $10.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I would suggest Fable 2 and Crackdown

Crackdown can be found VERY cheep and is LOADS of fun and will get you all hyped up for Crackdown 2 comming later this year

fable 2 is... well fable xD

Then why do you only own a 360?

OT: Keep it, reach is likely to be one of the greatest console FPSs for a long time!

I'd keep it if only to play the exclusives. You can always sell it later (for slightly less money of course, being used) if you don't end up using it.

As far as a hard drive - maybe look into using the flash drives that work for it now? Might be cheaper, though I'm not positive and how/how well they work.

And if you say you like shooters...well.  That's a no-brainer.  I'd keep it just to play Halo: Reach on.  :)   But there's a million good shooters on 360.  And if you're British and like WRPG's, Fable II is a no-brainer as well.

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?

Keep it, trust me...

Try out;

Crackdown
Forza Motorsport 3
Dead Rising
Mass Effect 1/2
Fable 2
Gears of War 1/2

Have fun, congratz on your win, coke rewards sucks here you won a sweet prize!

I've decided to get the following Xbox games: Fable 1, Knights of The Old Republic 1 & 2 and Morrowind.

And the following 360 games: Dead Rising, Fable 2, Gears of War 1 & 2, Mass Effect 1 & 2 and Left 4 Dead 2.

Should keep me busy for a while lol.
