Yeah, those are pretty darn hard RPGs. 

The original Dragon Quest games for the NES and SNES were also pretty tough, it's a shame that the DQIV and DQV remakes for the DS took the difficulty way down.

I thnk they wer scared of FFXIII, nw a few months later whn ff13 hs outsold Mass effect 2...by 2:1 in west & over 3:1 worldwide they r making a sttment saying its nt a RPG. I knw I sound harsh bt i'm angry right nw.

Its almst like whn the forza makers wer insulting GT makers before forza 3 came out.
I luv ME2, its 2nd best RPg of this gen behind ff13 for me, bt this sttment is disppointing.

I leveled all my characters to 70, defeated every optional boss in the dungeon, equipped incredible weapons and armor.

And Big Bang still kills my entire party! FOR FUCK'S SAKE!

@Dtewi I'm on aweful gamer (atleast I think, I beat demon souls though, but took me forever) I didn't find it that hard either, yes it was hard. But why don't you go farm experience, rather than just dieing and dieing?
