I saw the Guinnes list.
Sad, is all i can say.
So i decided to make my own list, and see what people think of it.
1- Mario( and mario branded games) I hate mario. So much, i feel as if they've been milking the series for soooooo long. (200+ games)
However, with all that mario has done for the medium, and The wii, and evrything, it truly deserves this spot.
2 Pokemon. More or less the same reason as mario.
3 Halo. This is probably going to piss some people off, but let me explain my self. Halo revoulthionized not only the f.p.s. genre, but modern gaming, as it is. Halo 3 is still being played by alot of people 3 years after it's relese. Halo has done so much for the medium, perhaps not as much as mario, but it deseves recognition.
4 Zelda..... no explenation.
5 Lego branded games. I have had so much fun with lego indie, batman, starwars... For a while they where thinking of making a lego Halo!, i would have bought that...
6 Call of duty. Most C.o.d. games are awsome. Woulda been placed higher, but i think Mw2 is too broken, still extemly fun.
7 Age of empires. Did any of you play A.O.E. 1 when it came out? FUUUUN.
8 metal gear...... Kinda self explanitory.
9 Grad theft auto. ........ awsome, i bought allmost evry game, and there alll awsome.
10 God Of War. Mabye the best graphics of any console game, epic boss fights, this fanchise has evrything.
There has been my list, please tell me how rong i was. To qualify, there needs to be atleast 3 games.
I want to point out, that i am a microsoft fanboy, but not an idoit, i know that franchises like mario deserve recognition.
