Cough DQ9 Cough Hm I wonder why they will put out?

Problem is, SquareEnix puts about as much effort into the Dragon Quest brand outside Japan as they do with The Mana or Front Mission Licences.  In other words, .001% advertising.  Nintendo can't really consider that a 'Big Hit Title', even with their promise of advertising, because the parent company doesn't give two-cents about the brand and won't do anything to promote it.

Although I wish they would....so much.....

Yea, you are right But, it will still sale pretty decently. It could probably sell so much more though if they put a little effort into promoting it.

They need another game that will revolutionize the way we look at/play games... like Nintendogs or Brain Age.

But in the meantime... they are fine, I still have tons of DS games I would like to play.

A 2D Mario Galaxy with connectivity with SMG2 would be awesome.

Also, Tomodachi Collection could be localized.

They need to release a sequel to Kirby's Canvas Curse.  Or maybe a new Pinball game, but something that revolutionizes the genre.  Virtual Pinball games are a genre that hardly gets touched upon in gaming, but Nintendo has made some pretty good ones in the past (Kirby Pinball, Pokemon Pinball Ruby and Sapphire, Metroid Pinball) and utilizing the 3DS, they could take it to a whole new level that truly could make Pinball be something beyond just an emulation of the real thing.

Six upcoming games you should look into:

Im more worried about a 3DS launch title.

Its going to have Mario in it, i assume, and i would hesitate to bet that a 3D Mario Kart would kick all sorts of ass with core and casual gamers.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Not as a launch title...

Mario Kart DS is still going good, last week it ranked in the 31st spot worldwide with ~32K units.

Launching 3DS with a Mario Kart would be killing profit.

It sounds most likely like a late summer release perhaps? Within a year, sales of Mario Kart DS may be out of the top100 maybe.

Yeah baby, Brain Training 3!!!

Finally!!!

Launching 3DS with a Mario Kart would be killing profit. It would actually be perfectly suited as a DS conversion title, a trippy/cool 3D visual experience for core gamers and a well known brand to introduce the new console.

I think there is a better chance of MK than any other game (maybe Animal Crossing due its 3d scroll effect in the Wii version).

Pokemon, Zelda and M&L RPG 3 within the last couple of months not good enough? : /
