Atlantis was good, SG-1 was the best though, that new one SG Universe or whatever it is sucks balls... I only watched the first 5 or so - so maybe it got better, but they definitely didn't learn from Star Trek DS9 in that if you don't have a "bad guy" your show is going to suck

they have a bad guy in it now, got slightly better no where nears as good as sga or sg1, they just left the galaxy they where in dont know if the bad guys will follow, series 1.5 has been a lot better than series 1. you should start at episode 10 if your interested.

Atlantis was good but i actually like SGU better. Dr. Rush is much better than Dr. Mckay ever was.

I would love for them to do a few direct to DVD movies to warp up the storyline...

Other then that I hope the local free to air channel brings back stargate universe (they only aired 3 episodes before shelving it) otherwise I'll just have to buy it on DVD again like I did with the last few seasons of Atlantis.

What's the music?  It was great.

They have at least two direct to DVD movies being made.  At least one for each of Atlantis and SG1, there may actually be a third from memory but I can't remember which series it is was for or if it got canned.

I am up to date with Universe (up to episode 16).  I have been downloading them, but I'll get the DVD's when they are released.  It's very good.

They are developing a bad guy right now actually. Its kind of in the DS9 Season 3 phase of it. You know they are out there, and can curb stomp some things. But there isn't a lot of meaningful direct conflict just yet. Mostly running away as is the nature of the show really. The series they aren't learning from is Atlantis, as the aliens have already been established to be a non-threat. So now they have to invent ways to make them more dangerous without making the crew look too incompetent.

On topic: SGA is dead. The movies are as good as we will get, and honestly thats a good thing. The characters out classed all their major villains by the end. There was no threat out there looming. The Wrait were made toothless and forgotten when they should have been out there exterminating them. Double true now that the followers of the Ori would be willing to help free the enslaved humans of Pegasus, or at least logically they should be. They should just wrap up the major plot threads with a couple movies, and use the format found in the last season as a basis for the continuing movie adventures.
