Why would you get dizzy from playing a FPS? Oo

i'm quoting you a lot lately...

this

I live for the burn...and the sting of pleasure...
I live for the sword, the steel, and the gun...

- Wasteland - The Mission.

half life 2 and bioshock yes but any other one no I don't know why

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

yes, rarely, but yes

Never had motion sickness. But I don't get plane sick or seasick either. Us Irish have strong stomachs ;D

Hmm not at all I started playing FPS for the first time this gen and there preaty easy(Killzone 2 demo was badass cant wait to buy the game)

Around the Network

whoever gets motion sickness from FPS's should play this game

it will probably cure the sickness compeletely and makes everything look so static.

its a game where up is down and left is up and right is down and your back is your left

It's more akin car sickness that anything else. What you're staring at is moving, but your peripherals say you're stationary. It just takes some getting used to. If you think FPSs on the Wii are bad, you should watch a pro play on the PC. I play with pretty high sensitivity, but there are people out there that make my mouse look stationary.

Edit: Check this out.  Absolutely ridiculous.

Reminds me of Forsaken on the N64, or the flying sections from Rayman 2, if ever I was going to get motion sick it was going to be then.

Yeah FPS' make me sick, It's called Simulation Sickness, and mine is pretty serious. If I play for more than 45 mins you will find me somewhere puking my guts out.

I also just recently discovered that steroscopic 3d also has this effect on me :(
