Nah, they made this one up 3-4 years ago after Online Shopping caught on more mainstream wise.

The Monday after Black Friday is always one of the biggest shopping days of the year.

 Pretty much. It's another shopping day that is supposed to follow up Black Friday.

I think I first heard the term in 2005 and said "this will never catch on". I think I'm slowly being proven wrong by consumers and large businesses.
