I hope the platforming is better. The controls were only ok in the first one.

Having read the whole list...
So that's what they've been working on. I'd forgotten how much LBP impressed me when I first played it, having put several hundred hours in I'd gotten used to all the things they did so well in that game.
But to think that to them it was just a flawed first try, and they've been working on making their perfect game this whole time...
Honestly, I might not ever play another game after this comes out.
This is... an incredible company... where the hell did these guys come from? (It's a rhetorical question, but that's what I feel when I see this kind of creativity and ambition coming from a new company.)

Exacta! Seriosuly this line
"As examples, the game 100% encourages the player to create game types and wants you to make a shooter, a racer, puzzle games, Space Invaders clones, even RPGs"
IF this is true and can be done with good execution this game will be GOTY for me hands down

I imagine MM looked at the levels created that had nothing to do with platforming and decided to expand LBP into a do anything type of experience. Like it or not, that's exactly what LBP became after some creative people got used to the level editor. Imagine the possibilities, you could have 1 level be platforming, the next could be a space shooter, the next a timed race, the next a one on one fight against a boss......It could become a well designed orgy of ideas coming together to make a truly unique experience.

I am a gamer. Not a fanboy, not a troll, a gamer. So when you dont like what I have to say, remember this fact.
I was thinking about getting lbp 1 but I was put of by the platforming- I personally perfer a fast-moving mario style platform game, I played the demo but I didn't find it that enjoyable tbh. I think it's probably a lot better online. Anyway if this is true for lbp2 and people create mario and sonic style platforming- PREORDER NOW!! :D
Wow, that sounds astounding!
The ultimate community game basically, I think people are going to come up with some insane things on there, although it would be nice if they made the tools more userfriendly so it wouldn't take as long to create something of quality as in the first game.
And I really hope you can create motion controls as well with that control seat thingy. I think that would make LBP2 a birthing ground for new motion control schemes, which would be nothing short of epic!
