microsoft funded his studio to be made so sakaguchi is kinda like second party but sakaguchi can make games that dont go head with microsoft 360 or hd console so sakaguchi can make ds and wii games but not a ps3 game in return

I believe they had a publishing contract which included funding for 2 games. Kinda like Bungie's ten year contract. Thus the 2 games are fulfilled. And thus Last Story being on Wii, doesn't mean he won't make xbox 360/ps3 games though

It will be big, but I find it odd that the Gooch would be interviewed about it unless he has something coming for the 360. And since nothing has been announced, this would lead me to believe that one WILL be announced at E3 (which is strange, but ok).

Well more than likely, Last Story isn't the only thing his studio has in production. Given their previous 2 games on the 360, it's not likely they have just gone Wii exclusive. Last Story will probably be shown off and announced at E3 for Nintendo, but I could see them also having something in store for the 360 as well. This kinda of PR is usually conducive of that, as they wouldn't be saying it unless they had some vested interested in it.

Please be Lost Odyssey 2. The best JRPG game this gen for me was Lost Odyssey. Proper Japanese Role Playing battle system. Man I love Sakaguchi.
